The 9th “For Victims of Agent Orange and Poor Disabilities” walking program in 2015

Nearly 10,000 people respond to the 9th For Victims of Agent Orange and poor disabilities walking program in 2015 by the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross Association, coordinating with Vietnam Television and Vietnam Communication Development Corporation.
This program aims to propagandize and mobilize raising a fund for victims of Agent Orange and the poor disabilities. With the message “Please do not forget them – No matter who you are, how you stand in society, your contribution to victims of agent orange and poor disabilities also brings them bigger faith in life!”
Nguyen Binh Tru_Vice Chairman of the HCMC Red Cross address “The Red Cross Association in districts take care of every month and unexpectedly assist to 2,531 victims of Agent Orange and poor disabilities; assist for 495 cases regularly; offer 355 wheelchairs; donate 30 cows to households in Cu Chi, Hoc Mon and Binh Chanh district (30 million VND / head). Total operating value in 2014 is over 2.2 billion VND”.
On 4th August 2015, the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross City press conference introducing the 9th “For Victims of Agent Orange and Poor Disability” walking program and, visit and give presents to families affected by Agent Orange in HCMC and Can Gio District.
The 9th walking program “For victims of Agent Orange and the poor disabled” take place at 6:30am on 9th August 2015 at Dam Sen Cultural Park and live broadcast on VTV9.
This walking program have the participation of Tan Thanh’s company and units, companies, enterprises, government agencies, schools, etc., in Ho Chi Minh City.
In response to this program, 30 Tan Thanh’s employees join. Participants wear a uniform, hats, sport shoes and concentrate at 5:00 am in yard 2 to go to Dam Sen Park by 16-seat car.
In 2014, employees of Tan Thanh company also take part in the 8th “For victims of Agent Orange and the poor disabilities” walking program by the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross.
With the spirit of mutual support, Tan Thanh’s company always support charity work, community, poor families, disabilities, flood, natural disasters, etc., every year.
The organizers thank agencies, businesses, etc., in Ho Chi Minh City for cooperating, supporting the “Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross Association” in activities helping disabilities and victims of Agent Orange in recent years.
